Some might think that having a performing arts center in a
small farming community is an audacious enterprise. But over the past
twenty-three years, supporters of the Empire Theatre have turned an aging,
deteriorating building into one of the finest venues for live entertainment in
the region. The Empire Theatre is, in many ways, better than ever, and
constantly improving.
